Bridging from Arbitrum One to XAI
Step 1: Access the Bridge
Go to the Arbitrum Bridge at https://bridge.arbitrum.io/?destinationChain=xai&sourceChain=arbitrum-one. This URL directly sets Arbitrum One as the source chain and XAI as the destination chain for your bridging operation.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
Click on the "Connect Wallet" button to link your Ethereum-compatible wallet (such as MetaMask) that holds your XAI and USDC tokens. Follow the prompts to establish a secure connection.
Step 3: Select the Token
Once your wallet is connected, select either XAI or USDC from the dropdown menu as the token you wish to bridge to the XAI blockchain.
Step 4: Enter the Amount
Input the amount of XAI or USDC you want to transfer. Ensure you have enough tokens for the transfer and consider transaction fees.
Step 5: Initiate the Transfer
After entering the amount, click on the "Transfer" or "Bridge" button to initiate the transaction. You may need to confirm the transaction in your wallet and agree to any associated fees.
Step 6: Confirm and Wait
Confirm the transaction in your wallet. The bridge will process your transaction, which may take some time. Transaction times can vary based on network congestion and other factors.
Step 7: Check Your XAI Wallet
Once the bridging process is complete, check your wallet on the XAI blockchain to ensure that the XAI or USDC tokens have been successfully transferred.
Additional Tips:
Gas Fees: Be aware of the gas fees associated with bridging tokens, which can vary widely with network conditions.
Double-Check Addresses: Always make sure you're using the correct bridge and destination addresses.
Test with Small Amounts: If it's your first time using the bridge, consider testing with a small amount.
